This is a historical blog focused on showing and preserving pictures of Korea. It is based on the contributions of my students at Woosong University. These are old family photos that show the Korea of generations past. Hopefully, more photos will be forthcoming. For the most part, I am not correcting the student's grammar. I am letting their words stand.
Hi. I am Lee Jeong Eun (Silver).
This attached picture is my great-grand mother's family.
My great-grand mother is in front of her mother who is wearing a Han-bok (Korean traditional cloth).
She is wearing a one piece dress. Her great-grand mother is near by her.
She had 4 cousins who are two girls and two little boys.
A man standing near her grand mother is her grand father.
I heard that she has no father because her father was dead when she was a baby.
Mostly women are wearing a Han-bok and men are wearing a suit.
They took a picture in front of garden of their house.
I'm Nani.
Let me introduce my family.
No. 1 is my grand father. He is so handsome, but isn't now. He is very old....
No. 2 and No. 3 are my grand father's younger brother and sister.
No. 4 is my great-grand father. His beard is so cool..
No. 5 is my great-grand mother. She is older than my great-grand father.
No. 6 is my an aunt. Her face looks like angry birds.
